Mariette’s musical journey began at fourteen when she enrolled at the Pro Arte School for the Arts in Pretoria, South Africa. There, she broke new ground as the first student permitted to take singing as her primary instrument at this esteemed institution. She later earned her Music Degree, specializing in Performance Opera, from the University of South Africa. Her talent and dedication were recognized with two bursaries, enabling her to pursue her Honours Degree in Music at the University of Pretoria. During this time, she began composing original music, which paved the way for her record deal.
Currently, Mariette is furthering her education with an Associate Degree in Theology through Kevin Zadai Ministries, in affiliation with Primus University USA. She continues to inspire audiences through guest appearances, where she emphasizes spontaneous and prophetic worship, blending her classical training with a deep spiritual calling.
